So....I learned that my settings were not correct! They are fixed now--blog away!!! May the Holy Spirit guide us towards our Savior in all that we do! Peace to you all!!!

transfiguration
So here we are to the most beautiful story---that of the Transfiguration! Try putting yourself in each person's shoes in the story. How does your perspective change? What do you learn? Oh that we could see who Christ truly is! Then perhaps we would unite ourselves with Him more fully!

St. Valentine's Day
What greater gift of love do we have than the Eucharist? In the Eucharist we find His perfection of unity, truth, goodness and beauty! Thank you Lord!
When celebrating Valentine's with your family, don't forget to gather together in prayer--of Thanksgiving, for peace, for healing, for help on the journey, for praise....whatever the Spirit leads you to! The Spirit guides us towards Christ, our Savior and our Healer. May His love flood over your lives!

Getting started
So today we welcomed in Lent! That might seem strange to welcome in Lent, however there is something so beautiful about journeying the way of the cross with Christ, reflecting on where we are and finding healing through Him. We are simply so blessed to have this season and especially this year at St. Susanna with our Paulist program, Living the Eucharist!!
The Lectio Divina way of praying might take a little getting used to, but in the quiet, the words do come. For myself, I found myself asking for my mouth to be an instrument of God. So many times I can feel him in my heart, but don't always attest to Him with my mouth. So yes, Lord, please, transform me into what You need.
This blog is to share things that are working or that you are struggling with in our groups and/or families with the program.
The Wednesday morning group found that word is powerful and can show trust; music and words can bond together to help us pay attention to what is going on in our lives; we can say things in anger and we have to be careful for the longevity of our words---they can be profound and/or helpful when used correctly--damaging when used incorrectly.
We discovered again that we find Christ in the Word. We renewed our understanding of scripture--"a religious truth concerning our relationship with God and God's relationship with the world."
We challenged ourselves to pray Lectio Divina with this Sunday's gospel: Luke 4:1-13. "Let us strive to live by every word which proceeds from your mouth." (Prayer after communion 1st Sunday of Lent)
